THINK

This is not our normal post related to our school but it is so much more important.

This will definitely make one think!
      VS

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing.
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being
disconnected because Jesus already paid the  bill.

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!

When Jesus died on the cross, he was thinking of you!

A loss in our martial arts family

We would like to publicly post that one of our young male students has lost his mother due to an unfortunate accident. We would like to ask everyone to please pray for this young man as he and his family bury his mother and then move on with the day to day business of life. We did not know his mother long but we are so glad we were able to meet her and and share a brief time in their lives. She will be missed.

AFAF Meeting and Workout

On Saturday, April17th, Mr. May will be attending the largest meeting our federation has had in the last 5 years. We are excited and are anticipating the opportunities that may arise from this meeting. The executive board, instructors of federation schools and black belts will be in attendance. We will not be having classes on Saturday due to this meeting being held in McDonough, Georgia.

Upcoming GUP test

We will be conducting out next Gup test on Saturday, May 8th. If you have all of your stripes or you are ready to test for your stripes please tell Mr. May. He will be doing stripe testing in class in the coming 3 weeks. All juniors must have 5 stripes and adults must have 4 stripes. If for some reason you are missing information for your next belt color please see Mrs. May for that information. It is very important you have this and keep it in a binder in an organized way to avoid losing any information.
All testing applications and intent to promote forms can be obtained from Mrs. May and must be returned completed by May 1st.
If all forms and fees are not returned by May 1,2010  the student will not be able to test. They will have to wait for the next test in July. If you have any questions please feel free to comment here or send us an email at maymartialarts@bellsouth.net.
