New Studio

****New Location****

We are moving to 229 South Davis Road Plaza in LaGrange. 

Here are some pictures of our new signs & location.

This is the sign at the street. We are so thankful to PC Screen printing and Signs for putting up both signs today. They worked very quickly to do it for us. I am thankful to have them up before Mr. May is gone next week.

We really appreciate the opportunity to buy this nice sign from a friend and make this step in our business. We have been in business for four years now. We began at Aspinwall Chiropractic, moved home to the garage and then to Gymnastics of LaGrange and most recently to the Tone. We are so thankful to all of the people and places God has blessed us with knowing. We are working very hard to make our school the best it can be and not to over extend ourselves beyond our means. We are very thankful for everyone family, friends, parents, and students.

This past weekend we had a great showing, at LaGrange Mall, of students, parents and others interested in our program.  We are so thankful for the parents that helped on Saturday. It would not have been possible with out everyone. The parents who helped with setup and clean up were so wonderful. It is not easy to transport all of the equipment. Thank you to the parents who took the time out of a busy Saturday to bring the children to the mall. Also thank you to those parents who spoke to passersby as they expressed interest and had questions about our program. We are so blessed to have a wonderful group of families in our Martial Arts school. I want to share a few pictures from Saturday.

The Juniors took turns demonstrating self-defense techniques using Mr. May.

We always begin our classes by showing respect to parents and instructor.

Thank you to these students and others not pictured that came to support our school at the expo. I'm sorry I couldn't get everyone.

 

Mr. May set up an obstacle course to demonstrate how we keep the students moving to practice shifting and balance their weight as well as having a little fun too. Great job kids.

Teamwork is one of the many important life skills we try to instill in our students.

In this video Mr. May is having the students to duck,jump and move side to side to practice moving away from a moving opponent. Our space was limited to the mat area but it was still fun to watch the kids play this game.

****NEW STUDIO LOCATION****

Hi everyone,
 I want to let everyone know we are finally realizing one of our biggest dreams. We are going to be moving into our own space. We are beyond excited about our new studio (dojang)!!!! It is located on Davis Road across from United Cheerleading in the same strip as Corley Drugs. We will be next to State Farm. We will begin classes in the new space in June. There are some finishing touches to be put on the space before we move in. We will be having a "Grand Opening", not sure on  the date yet. We will be having a moving day as well. We will have to move all mats, targets, wavebags, cabinets and other equipment. We anticipate needing to rent an Uhaul to make this process as easy as possible.  All that aside we are very excited!

Don't forget "Entrepreneur Expo" this weekend May 14th 11-2pm. Any and all students can come and show their techniques. We will be using folding mats at the mall to have a "mini-class". Please let me know if you plan to come by and did not sign up on the sign up sheet this past weekend.
