We had a very nice test on Saturday. Thank you so much to Mr. Mike Coffey for visiting and sitting on our testing board. We are so blessed to have a strong support group through our martial arts family.

I wanted to share a few pictures with you from the Juniors class test.If anyone has pictures from Little Dragons please let me know.

Flying Sidekick competition:

 Two of Little Dragons also participated in Sparring and Forms. We are so proud of them for their sportsmanship. They had to face each other and showed self-control as well as the will to win.

 We are so proud of everyone. Mr. May ended the award ceremony by reminding everyone, "You all represented our school well and we are so proud of all of you regardless of the medal or place you acheived. Did you have fun?" They all replied, "Yes!"

AFAF Tournament

AFAF Tournament

    Our federation of schools is having a tournament in July. The focus of the tournament is to have fun, meet other students in our federation and the experience of participating in a tournament. Competition is not the focus; we want all of our students to do their personal best. Medals will be awarded.

When: Saturday, July 16th at 10:00 am

 Why:

· This tournament is a great way for students to see other students in martial arts. Because we are not close to another federation school we do not have many chances to see and meet each other.

· This is also a learning opportunity for everyone. We want our students to continue to grow and improve as martial artists.  This is a safe and fun way to try out a tournament. It is only going to be students from our federation.

· This is a great price for tournament competition. For our students the time and travel are the biggest hurdle.

· We would love to have as many students as possible participate. If you are interested please see Mr. or Mrs. May and we can get you started.

(The other schools call their 4-6yr olds Rangers)

We are so excited at the response to the tournament. I can't wait to see our students perform the techniques and "show-off" what they have learned.
