Code of Ethics

1. I will look for the good in all people and make them feel worthwhile.
2. I will always be in a positive frame of mind and convey this feeling to every person I meet.
3. I will give so much time to the improvement of myself that I will have no time to criticize others.
4. If I have nothing good to say about a person, I will say nothing.
5. I will continually work at developing love, happiness, and loyalty in my family and acknowledge that no other success can compensate for failure in the home.
6. I will develop myself to the maximum of my potential in all ways.
7. I will always remain loyal to my country and obey the laws of the land.
8. I will be as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own.
9. I will forget the mistakes of the past and press on to greater achievements in the future.
10. I will maintain an attitude of open-mindedness toward another person’s viewpoint while still holding fast to that which I know to be true and honest.
11. I will maintain respect for those in authority and demonstrate this respect at all times.
12. I will become and remain highly goal-oriented throughout my life.

CODE OF ETHICS

For “Little Dragons”

1.               1. I will look for the good in all people and make them feel good.

2.    2.  I will always be positive and show this to everyone I meet.

3.     3. I will improve myself, and I will not put down others.

4.     4.If I have nothing good to say about a person, I will say nothing.

5.     5. I will help to build love, happiness, and loyalty in my family.

6.     6. I will be the best “me” I can be in all ways.

7.     7. I will be loyal to my country and obey its laws.

8.     8. I will be just as happy when others do well as I am when I do well.

9.     9.I will try very hard to succeed in the future.

10.  10. I will always listen to my parents and teachers.

11.  11. I will show respect for all adults.

Student Creed

Karate Creed

AFAF Creed

PURPOSE:                   To establish a “Creed” which gives a philosophy of life.

1.       DISCIPLINE:         The key ingredient for success in life is the discipline of mind and body. Setting goals and making sure they are accomplished builds discipline. Whatever goal I set for myself, I will first get a mental image in my mind of exactly what it is I want to achieve, then I will be determined and persistent enough to overcome all obstacles that get in my way toward that goal. Finally, I will train or study accordingly until that goal is accomplished.

2.       INTEGRITY:      I will be sincere and honest in my relationships with others and maintain high moral principles in my daily living.

3.       LOYALTY:            I will be faithful, support, defend, maintain allegiance, and be true to my family, my country, my friends, the American Fighting Arts Federation, and myself.

4.       RESPECT:             I will show respect for others by following the 12 principles of the CODE OF ETHICS, for respect must be given in order to be received.
